1:1 coaching for ambitious people who see strength training as a vehicle for personal development.
Build a stronger, more muscular, more capable body — and develop the discipline, confidence, and resilience that come from pursuing something difficult.
Personalized training. Individualized nutrition. Direct coaching.
You've probably already learned a lot about training.
You've watched the videos. You've tried different programs. You've experimented with exercises, volume, intensity, and nutrition.
But knowing how to train isn't the same as knowing how to build a plan that works for you.
Progress gets harder when you need to answer questions like:
What should I prioritize?
Why have I stopped progressing?
What needs to change?
How do I train around my weaknesses, recovery, and life?
How do I build muscle without sacrificing strength?
How do I actually know if what I'm doing is working?
That's where coaching comes in. You don't need more information. You need a system — and someone who knows how to help you execute it.
I believe strength training can change far more than your body. When you commit yourself to becoming stronger:
You learn how to pursue difficult goals.
You learn how to be disciplined when motivation isn't there.
You learn how to confront weaknesses instead of avoiding them.
You learn that progress isn't always linear — and that setbacks don't have to define you.
You become more capable. And capability builds confidence. Confidence builds resilience. That's why I don't view training as simply a way to improve your squat, bench, deadlift, or physique. It's a vehicle for becoming a stronger person — inside and outside the gym.
Most training systems are built around a single primary outcome. Powerlifting prioritizes maximal strength. Bodybuilding prioritizes muscular development. But if you want to become stronger, more muscular, and more physically capable, why would you train as though you have to choose? Powertrain combines the principles of powerlifting and bodybuilding into an individualized system designed to develop strength and hypertrophy together.
Muscle is your strength engine. Hypertrophy isn't an afterthought or something you squeeze in after your "real" training — we deliberately develop the musculature that supports your performance while building the physique you're after.
Building muscle is only part of the equation. We use progressive strength training, technical practice, intelligent loading, and performance-focused programming to teach you how to turn that muscular development into strength you can actually express.
Your body isn't a spreadsheet. Your program shouldn't be either. Exercise selection, volume, intensity, frequency, progression, and recovery are adjusted based on your performance, feedback, goals, and life. The goal isn't to complete a program — it's to continually become better.
You don't have to choose between looking like you train and performing like an athlete. Powertrain is built to develop both.
I'm not a coach who only understands strength training from a textbook. I've spent years training, competing, coaching, and refining the process from both sides of the equation.
I've experienced firsthand what it takes to build strength, build muscle, manage fatigue, refine technique, prepare for competition, and continue progressing when progress gets difficult. I've also coached everyone from general fitness clients to competitive powerlifters. That combination shapes the way I coach. I don't believe you should have to choose between being strong and looking like you train. I've spent years pursuing both. Now I help other ambitious people do the same.
We start with where you are and where you want to go. Your goals, training history, current performance, schedule, recovery, nutrition, strengths, and weaknesses all inform the plan.
Your training is built around you. Exercise selection, programming, progression, volume, intensity, and frequency are intentionally selected to move you toward your goals. Your nutrition is designed to support the same objective.
You train with purpose instead of simply checking boxes. You know what you're doing, why you're doing it, and what we're trying to accomplish.
You don't just receive a spreadsheet and disappear. You have ongoing coaching, form and technique feedback, accountability, and adjustments as you progress. When something isn't working, we figure out why. When something is working, we build on it.
Your life changes. Your performance changes. Your body changes. Your program needs to change with you. We don't force you to fit the program — we adapt the program to the person.
A program built around your goals, experience, schedule, equipment, and individual needs.
A nutrition strategy designed to support performance, recovery, body composition, and long-term physical development.
Send your lifts. Get objective feedback. Understand what needs to change — and why.
Your plan evolves as you get stronger, your needs change, and life happens.
You're not buying a spreadsheet. You're working directly with a coach who knows your training and understands what you're trying to accomplish.
Because knowing what to do and actually doing it are two different things.
Ambitious people who aren't satisfied with "good enough." You don't have to be a competitive powerlifter or an elite athlete. You do need to care about getting better.
I work best with people who expect more from themselves — and are willing to put in the work to become it.
Yes, we'll chase bigger lifts. Yes, we'll build muscle. Yes, we'll improve your physique. But the ultimate goal is bigger than any individual PR. It's becoming someone who is:
Because the person you become through the process matters just as much as what you accomplish.
Not everyone who applies gets in — these are a few of the people who did the work.
You don't need another program. You don't need another six months of guessing. You need a system built around where you are, where you want to go, and what it's going to take to get there. If you're ambitious, willing to work, and serious about becoming stronger and more physically capable, let's see if we're a good fit.
Tell me where you are, where you want to go, and what's currently standing in your way.
